Mapato – Privacy statement
Definitions
The Mapato-SAAS-platform is designed, developed and maintained by Zatara and hosted on Microsoft Azure, hence the role of Zatara is ‘processor’.
The organisations using Mapato as their back-office solution are hereafter called Tenants. The role of the tenants is ‘controller’.
End-users are the persons logging into Mapato and using the services provided by the Tenant.
Notice to end-users
Mapato is intended for use by Tenants and are administered to you by that Tenant. Your use of Mapato may be subject to your Tenant’s policies, if any. If your Tenant is administering your use of Mapato, please direct your privacy enquiries to your Tenant. When you use social features of such products, other users in your network may see some of your activity. Zatara is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of our customers, which may differ from those set forth in this privacy statement.
The data collected in Mapato
By default, Mapato is configured to collect the following data:
- Email-address
- Password
- Last-name and First-name
- Address(es)
- Phone number(s)
- Social-media
- Enrolments and Orders
- Payment
Several modules allow the tenant to collect additional information. If you have any questions about the extra data collected by the Tenant, please contact the
Tenant.
How we use personal data:
Zatara does only use the end-user data collected in case of a problem reported by the Tenant or the end-user.
Zatara does not use the end-user data for commercial use, nor does it shares that information with third-parties.
Zatara does only use the Tenant-data collect for operating its business and does not share that information with third parties.
The Tenant uses the data collected to operate their business.
How to access & control your personal data
As a tenant or end-user, log on to Mapato and you have read/write access to all your data.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
Mapato uses cookies (small text files placed on your device) and similar technologies to provide our websites. Cookies allow us, among other things, to store your preferences and settings; enable you to sign-in; combat fraud; and analyse how our websites and online services are performing.
You have a variety of tools to control cookies and similar technologies, including browser controls to block and delete cookies. Your browser and other choices may impact your experiences with our products.
Mapato does not use cookies or any similar technologies to track behaviour for commercial purposes.
